This is a beautiful Takamine TLD-M2 Special Edition acoustic-electric guitar in pristine condition. This highly sought-after OM-style instrument was handcrafted in Takamine’s Pro Shop in Sakashita, Japan and is an extremely rare model, with only 30 guitars produced for worldwide distribution.
The TLD-M2 features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid figured Oregon myrtle back and sides, a unique tonewood known for its warm, balanced response and striking natural grain. The guitar also includes a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, rosewood bridge, and elegant maple binding with abalone rosette and diamond inlays, giving it both superb playability and a refined, high-end look.
Electronics are handled by Takamine’s TLD-2 Line Driver preamp, making it equally at home on stage or in the studio.
This example has been meticulously cared for and remains in immaculate condition. A rare opportunity for collectors or serious players to own an exceptionally desirable, limited production Takamine.
